BUILDING TOWARD PLANES OF MOTION WITH DVRT: FULL FRONTAL

One of the most unique and well thought aspects of DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training is our approach to training in all 3 planes of motion: Sagittal, Frontal and Transverse.

Most systems or training methodologies focus on the sagittal plane as it is the most stable. We want to build certain movement qualities before jumping into the front plane. Creating a solid base of anti-rotation and frontal plane resistance with the sagittal plane is a solid gameplay toward training the frontal plane.

This video shows some steps and insight on how you can prepare to crush the frontal plane.

Fellow Master DVRT Instructor, James Newman, is going to follow up in a separate video to bring us to the transverse plane. You don't want to fear other planes of motion, but you must respect them.

DVRT provides the system to do that.
