FURY THURSDAY! REPS VS. RANGES

How important are specific rep counts versus rep ranges? I often program rep ranges versus specific reps. Rep ranges allow the people we train to self regulate their reps base on quality of form and perceived rate of exertion. Instead of programming 5 reps, I may do 3-5 or 5-7 based on the overall volume I'm looking for. I also use blocks of time and intervals to help people learn how to run their own race. -Fury
