ULTIMATE SANDBAG SATURDAY! SIMILAR MOVEMENT. DIFFERENT RESPONSE.

One of the common misconceptions of DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training is that people feel they can do the same movements with a kettlebell, barbell or dumbbell. Well, you really can't just swap the implement. Things may look similar on the surface but dimension, grip position and stability play a huge role on the response a client will feel. For instance, a DVRT Tall Kneeling Around The World may appear similar to a kettlebell Halo. It's a similar movement but the Ultimate Sandbag (USB) provides a significantly different response. I'm not saying Halos are bad. I use them ALL the time. However when I program them, I know they are not the same as Around The Worlds with a USB. Aside from this specific movement, DVRT is an entire system built upon maximizing the benefits of the USB. The system is also deep enough to let you realize when a kettlebell may be more logical (a swing for instance).
